Social Media Specialist
Job Overview:Shelley’s Social Media is seeking a motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Social Media Marketing Specialist. This part-time, work-from-home position will focus on managing and assisting with our clients' social media accounts. We are looking for someone passionate about social media marketing, eager to learn, and ready to help build and maintain strong online presences for our clients. We will train the right candidate who is eager to learn and grow in the field of social media marketing.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and assist with the day-to-day operations of clients' social media accounts across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

Develop and implement social media strategies to build brand awareness, increase engagement, and drive results.

Ensure brand consistency across all platforms and messaging.

Track, analyze, and report on the performance of social media campaigns, ensuring they stay on budget and meet deadlines.

Collaborate with clients and team members to understand their goals and provide tailored social media solutions.

Create engaging, high-quality content (text, graphics, video) to promote clients' brands.

Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in digital marketing, social media platforms, and industry best practices.

Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates, reports, and insights via email and phone.
Must-Have Qualities:

Keen interest in learning about social media marketing in a small business environment.

Strong understanding of at least one social media platform and business/advertising tools (Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, LinkedIn). While experience across all platforms is not required, we are willing to train the right candidate who is eager to become an expert in social media marketing and business advertising tools.

Awareness of current digital marketing trends and strategies.

Ability to create and maintain brand consistency across multiple platforms.

Strong analytical skills to track social media performance and manage budgets effectively.

Helpful Skills/Experience:

Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 suite, Google, OneDrive, Slack, Trello, LastPass, Hootsuite, Canva, and CRM platforms.

Experience with social media management tools like Hootsuite, Canva, or similar platforms.

Knowledge of digital marketing and social media promotion best practices.

Experience with influencer marketing strategies and campaigns.
Additional Duties May Include:

Assist in maintaining Shelley’s Social Media’s own social media accounts, including Facebook, X, Pinterest, Instagram, SnapChat, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn.
Requirements:

Must be an LLC or, if you are not yet an LLC, you must file as a sole proprietor and understand independent contractor laws in your state.

You will be required to sign a contract for each project we assign to you.
