Social Media Specialist
Job Overview: Shelley's Social Media is looking for a motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Social Media Marketing Specialist. This part-time, remote position will involve managing and assisting with our clients' social media accounts. We're seeking someone passionate about social media marketing and eager to learn. We offer a 3-week training process, and upon completion, you'll qualify to work on projects for each platform you’ve been trained on.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and assist with day-to-day operations of clients' social media accounts on platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, SnapChat, Reddit, TikTok, and LinkedIn.

Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, increase engagement, and drive results.

Ensure consistency across all platforms and messaging.

Track, analyze, and report on social media campaign performance, ensuring they stay within budget and meet deadlines.

Collaborate with clients and team members to understand goals and provide customized solutions.

Create engaging, high-quality content (text, graphics, video) to promote client brands.

Stay up-to-date on digital marketing trends, social media platform updates, and best practices.

Regularly communicate with clients, providing updates, reports, and insights via email and phone.
Must-Have Qualities:

Strong interest in learning social media marketing within a small business context.

Familiarity with at least one social media platform and business/advertising tools (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, SnapChat, Reddit, TikTok, LinkedIn). No need to be an expert across all platforms—we'll train you to become one.

Awareness of current digital marketing trends and strategies.

Ability to create and maintain consistent branding across multiple platforms.

Strong analytical skills to track performance and manage budgets effectively.

Comfortable communicating with clients via phone and email.

Additional Duties May Include:

Assisting in maintaining Shelley's Social Media’s own accounts across Facebook, X, Pinterest, Instagram, SnapChat, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Reddit.
Requirements:

Must be an LLC or, if not yet an LLC, must file as a sole proprietor and understand independent contractor laws in your state.

You will be required to sign a contract for each project we assign.

Must be communicative, team-oriented, and comfortable working independently.

About Us:
We are a growing business seeking a proactive and organized Virtual Administrative Assistant to work as an independent contractor. This role requires a candidate who can manage a variety of administrative tasks, including phone consultations, lead generation, CRM management, and follow-up activities. We provide training to ensure the right candidate is set up for success.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct initial phone consultations with potential clients, providing information about our services.
